How does the Sync & Backup feature work in the Password Manager?
Our Sync & Backup feature helps keep your Password Manager data safe, even if you lose your phone or get a new one.
When this feature is turned on, your saved data is securely encrypted and stored in your iCloud account, not on our servers. This means only you can access your data, and your privacy is fully protected.
Here’s what you can expect:
🔁 Sync across devices: Access your passwords, documents, and 2FA codes from multiple Apple devices (like your iPhone, Mac, and iPad) with automatic sync via iCloud.
🛡️ End-to-end encrypted: Your data is encrypted before it ever leaves your device, so not even Apple or our team can see it.
☁️ Backup and restore: If you switch devices or reinstall the app, you can restore your data by logging into iCloud and unlocking the Password Manager with your password.
🔐 Note: For your security, the app always asks for your password first, even if you usually use Face or Touch ID. This helps confirm you’re the rightful owner before syncing or restoring data.
This way, your Password Manager data is always backed up and always in your control.
