How do I enable Auto-Lock in the Authenticator App?

Auto-Lock is an important security feature that helps protect your two-factor authentication (2FA) codes from unauthorized access. When enabled, the app will automatically lock after a short period of inactivity, requiring Face ID, Touch ID, or your password to access your 2FA codes again.

To make sure Auto-Lock is enabled:

  1. Open the Authenticator App on your device.

  2. Go to Settings.

  3. Select the Security section.

  4. Use Face ID, Touch ID, or your password to access Security settings.

  5. Make sure the Auto-Lock option is toggled ON.

Keeping this feature enabled helps ensure your 2FA codes stay secure, even if you step away from your device.
